Victoria's basketball community is Victoria’s basketball community is set for a worldclass showcase, with Basketball Victoria proud to host the Chinese National Under18 Men’s Team for a four game international exhibition series from 27 April to 1 May 2026.  

Bringing elite international basketball to Melbourne, the series celebrates the continued growth of the game while creating meaningful development opportunities for Victorian players, coaches and technical officials. It also provides a high-performance environment for the visiting Chinese squad as they prepare for the 2026 FIBA U18 Asia Cup. 

The visiting Chinese squad arrives as one of the premier youth programs in the world. As they prepare for the 2026 U18 FIBA Asia Cup, they bring a wealth of recent international success to our courts. Following an impressive 3rd-place finish at the 2024 U18 Asia Cup and a strong campaign at the 2025 U19 World Cup, this group is clearly the future of Chinese basketball. 

Basketball Victoria is honoured to provide the platform for the team’s final preparations on the road to the Asia Cup.
