Chippenham Town FC

Chippenham Town FC, known as The Bluebirds, stand as a pillar of the Wiltshire community, boasting a rich history dating back to 1873. Begining matches before the turn of the century, the first three decades we flew high in the Wiltshire League before flying over to the Western League system pre WW2.

A gentle rise through the Western League followed, with a highlight in 1999 as we took on Deal Town at the famous old Wembley. Despite a loss on the day, it was an historic day with more than 12,000 making the trip up.

As the milenium turned, we rose into the Southern League system of which we became Champions in 2017. Promotion to the National League South for the highest peak ever followed and the records kept tumbling.

In 2022, in the first season post Covid-19 pandemic Gary Horgan took the managerial reins, and guided us to playoff semi-final following a seventh placed finish, the highest in the pyramid in our history. The following season we bested our FA Cup record, reaching the Second Round after a victory over League One Lincoln City. The season after that our FA Trophy record was then broken as we hit the Third Round for the first time ever.

Despite relegation in 2026, CTFC are on the bouceback up the table and we want you to be a part of a big journey this season 💙
