About Willand Rovers FC.
Willand Rovers Football Club, established in 1946 following the financial difficulties of Willand Wanderers FC, has built a strong reputation in the Southwest football scene. The club moved to its current home, Silver Street, in the 1950s.
After a brief relegation, Willand Rovers swiftly returned to the Premier Division of the Devon and Exeter Football League in 1991-92. They were a founder member of the Devon League in 1992-93, winning that league twice before securing promotion to the Western League Division One in 2001.
Continued success saw them win the Western League Division One title in 2004-05, leading to promotion to the Western League Premier Division. Since then, Willand Rovers has consistently finished in the top six of the Premier Division, demonstrating their strength in the region.
The club has also achieved notable cup success, winning the Les Phillips Cup in 2007 and reaching the Fifth Round of the FA Vase in 2009-10.
