Shaynna Blaze – Taking Back my Joy – Cabaret
About the Show
The Title ‘Taking back my Joy’ is taken from one of the songs on Shaynna Blaze’s new EP (to be released on October 18th 2024).
“My story isn’t about a timeline but more about events that have had a defining moment in my life, good and bad that have helped me navigate not just the career that I have, but mostly me as a person. Life can really throw you some pretty hard and sometimes shitty curve balls and what comes with that are lessons. It is always how you embrace them that in the end defines who you are”.
Taking Back my Joy is co-written with Martin Crewes, star of stage and theatre and screen in such shows as Wizard of Oz, Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and currently taking on the role of Larry Murphy in the new Australian production of ‘Dear Evan Hansen’.
Original music co-written with Shaynna’s good friend Gary Pinto and Score created by musical director, Johannes Luebbers.
